Vote down the budget on Tuesday

Last week's ConDem Budget was a Budget that gave with one hand and punched with the other. Driven by ideology rather than economic reality, it was a hammer blow to families and businesses across the country - and to the future of the British economy.

But this doesn't have to be the case. On Tuesday, Members of Parliament will be able to vote against the Budget when it comes to a vote in the House of Commons.

David Miliband is writing to all Tory and Lib Dem MPs to ask them to vote down the Budget when it comes to a vote in the House of Commons on Tuesday.

He is asking people to co-sign his letter to help send a strong message to Tory and Lib Dem MPs they should do the decent thing and vote against this Budget.

He will be delivering the letter personally to all Tory and Lib Dem MPs on Tuesday and everyone who signs the letter by 5pm Monday will have their name included in the list of signatories.

I've co-signed the letter - you can do so too by clicking here now! (Now expired)
